CARL JAYCOCK ‘THE LAND ABSTRACTED’
PENWITH GALLERY ST IVES CORNWALL
2 JULY- 31 JULY 2021
The most recent artworks and paintings explore the convergence of abstract and representational references which use perception and scale to play with the way the artworks are seen. The micro macro use coming from experimentation in print making and image manipulation which started around 1990 and research on landscape and seascape which explore the Cornish landscape. The Land Abstracted Exhibition shows a carefully selected small collection of artworks from my career which cover a wide range of media. Ranging from traditional landscape paintings to wall relief constructions from the 1980s that explore landscape and places of the South West. The most recent artworks explore the essence of places and focus on the poet quality of a place through colour. We very much look forward to seeing you at Carls new exhibition of artworks.
